If you are using a MetaMask wallet and are trading tokens for the first time, it is likely that you need to import the tokens to your wallet.
If you’re on the Ethereum network, you can simply click “import tokens” and search for the token you are looking to add.
If you’re on the Polygon network, you will likely need the Token Contact Address to import a token and the other information should autofill.
You can find a list of ERC-20 tokens by market cap on Polygonscan here. The information you need can be found in the profile summary for the token.
